Surf Life Saving Queensland (SLSQ) collects your personal information to communicate information and offers from SLSQ, and to provide SLSQ products and services directly with you.

By providing your personal information you agree it will be disclosed to, and used by, Surf Life Saving Queensland under the terms of this statement and SLSQ Privacy Policy.

SLSQ may disclose your personal information to other parties, including SLSQ third party service providers. SLSQ may use and disclose your personal information for direct marketing purposes, unless you opt out (which you can do at any time in accordance with the SLSQ Privacy Policy).


IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE TO FLY? Yes, the minimum age is five (5) years at the time of flight.

ARE THERE WEIGHT OR HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS TO FLY? No, the WLRHS does not have any restrictions.

IS THERE WHEELCHAIR ACCESS ON-BOARD THE HELICOPTERS? No, unfortunately, the WLRHS cannot cater for wheelchair access and seating.


Surf Life Saving Queensland asks that all members are considerate of those around them, both patrons and staff, and abide by any policies that the organisation has in place to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time.

  • Always treat other members and guests in a respectful manner during any WLRHS events.
  • Children aged five (5) and over are entitled to membership. It is highly recommended and encouraged that those aged 17 and under are adequately supervised.
  • Bad language and racist remarks will not be tolerated and may result in termination of membership.
  • Smoking and alcohol consumption are prohibited in and around the hangars and throughout the duration of your flight.


We believe our High Flyers Club members are special and they deserve an exclusive place to come and enjoy events. We feel dress standards celebrate this sense of occasion and dressing appropriately is a way for our members to show the value they place in their membership.


SLSQ has an RSA policy. Restrictions on how many drinks may be purchased/served at any time will apply. All persons entering High Flyers Club events are advised that:

  • Intoxicated persons will not be permitted to enter
  • Intoxicated persons will be removed from the premises
  • It is an offence for minors to purchase and consume liquor
  • It is an offence to purchase liquor for, or supply liquor to minors
  • Persons supplying liquor to minors will be reported to the Police and penalties apply under legislation
  • If you look under 25, we will ask you for ID
